Show don't Tell

Of course this is better than most every thing on newgrounds but my review is in context of your other work. I don't feel that the animation was up to par with your earlier work in this series, the scenes of when bitey was younger in particular. The narration was also rather dull and I think it told too much. I understand that you are trying to introduce a higher level of understanding for the brakenwood world and tell the story of teh dashkin, but it feels as if the narration was used as a crutch in this animation, which is a crutch you definitely don't need, as you are a master of visual story telling and character animation. Please tell us the story through the visuals as much as you can, as you have in the past. The writing wasn't bad, it just told way too much compared to what was going on visually.

Been following you from the begining, and I love all your stuff, so I hope you will find this constructive, and not offensive in any way.

So many layers of sarcasm in this i don't know what to do. I would like to do some hardcore film analysis on this animation, i will send you the paper when its done.

Could have been better.

I know its hard to top some thing as amazing as the first one, but this animation completely followed the same formula as the first one, only the "out there" factor was increased by a notch or two. Although it had some funny moments, overall I was pretty disappointed by it, I know that you could have been far more original with it than you were.

patch for 10millino+?

Fun flash game. What was the patch for reaching 10million+? I just went over 10 million and every thing stopped appearing and the shaking stopped. couldn't pick up more ammo :(

don't be so greedy

the ads between every level are so annoying.

Maybe the concept wasn't so bad, but the sound/music and visuals were terrible. Mostly I was immediately turned off by your horrible ad placement.

well made.

It has a professional feeling to it for the most part. I really love the gun sounds, they are crisp and clear and sound cool in stereo. The death animations were all pretty cool.

My biggest problem with it was reloading. You couldn't switch to your alternate while you were reloading, which was a pain, especially since it would auto reload once you are out of ammo. That is when you need your alternate weapon the most!

Also, I wouldn't bother changing this on this particular game, but if you were to make a sequel or a similar game, I would try to balance out the whole survivor/finding gun/repair thing. The survivors were fairly useless in combat, and i barely ever had to even repair my wall. Maybe if it was harder, or had harder settings then that whole thing would be useful, but at this point, if you get survivors in the beginning, it makes every thing else too easy in terms of repairing and finding guns. So it was a good idea, but it needs some tweaking for the next game.

Very well made game though, impressive.
